Welcome to the Final post of this season as SS take on MP in the Finals of GIT season 1.
SS have had a roller coaster ride but have got to the finals and are looking good in my view to win this but as are there opponents MP! Players like Nish and Nick are the important players for SS whereas MP will rely on Jordy and Chris to pick up the wins for them.
This will be as close as MP's victory over Freedom 2 weeks ago! If all the right players show then SS should have the edge in my view. MP are WPC Champs and will want to add GIT to there 2 WPC Victories!
Straight Shots have the MLP Championship in the bag and will be looking to add GIT to the pot this is the season where SS grab ANOTHER championship!

Playoffs
So after a long 14 week season, GIT has gone brilliantly and to my surprise not many complaints either! The 4 lucky teams that have made the playoffs are Freedom (Number 1 seed), Straight Shots (Number 2 seed), Extreme Pool Competitors (Number 3 seed) and Magic Pool (Number 4 seed). Congratulations to those 4 teams and commiserations to the other 4 that didn't make it this season and they were Sexy Poolerz, Ultimate Outlaw, Brit Pool and Money In The Bank. Without you this interleague would not have completed so we thank all of the 8 teams. So much like the way Mr. Predictor did his Predictions I will put key players and the players that should take on the 3 wild cards. So lets look at the matches and the key for each match.
Freedom vs Magic Pool
Key Players:
Freedom:
Corey - Corey is a must in this competition. He brings good play and thinking to the table and is a very experienced player.
Craig - When Craig shows and is not bitching about losing a pool match or bitching at me because I don't deserve a place on the team, he is very, very important to the team and will need to have his 'A' game tonight.
Petey - Captain Marvelous in GIT will really need to make sure he has his game on him tonight, if he can show the fight like he has all season then WOW this will be some performance!
Wild card Man:
Jason (Me) - Yes I name myself and I am not going to go back on it either, I have been the wild card King this season. 7 out of 7 is awesome results for me and if you take into account i am 1-5 in reg 8 you can tell that this wildcard is good to me!
Magic Pool:
Anil - Ok his stats are nto as good as others but he has been in a WS final in MLP and a WPC Wold Cup Final and knows all about it so his experience will be vital in this case.
Chris - The Captain is one of MP's most important players and will need to really lead from the front to get ANYTHING out of this game. If he does then the rest will follow, expect himself to go up against me to get revenge on the wildcard match earlier this season.
Jordy (Wild Card)- This guy is the KEY for MP and Chris will look to probably use him to clinch with both chances Jordy gets this evening. If the Jordy who is unstoppable shows up then FR will lose two games. This is the Bank 8/q lp one too.
The Prediction!
This will either be a blow out or a very tight close match and will come down to how the likes of Craig, Ash and Jason is used for Freedom and how Jordy, Chris and Anil is used for MP. If all three end up facing each other that will be where the match is won or lost. The way the matches have gone between these two in the past would give MP the edge but this season FR have really found a gear this season and that will see FR through!

Nick_18_ - What a season this guy has had! I think he had a shot at MVP and might just have got it. He is key for this sort of match as the rest will feed off him and really show SS are a force to be reckoned with.
SailDude (Wild card too) - This is another player who this season has came on leaps and bounds. He is one that will shock whoever he plays and EPC had sure better watch out for him!
Nullified - Shannon I think his name is and what a player he can be. If Shannon shows up and is on the sort of form he has been lately this is a big threesome EPC must handle.
Extreme Pool Competitors:
Ben, James and Stephen:
These three get the mention together because there all X8B players but playing in EPC in GIT because they are not in the GIT as X8B and they are the 3 best players in EPC this season without doubt and probably the only reason that EPC could beat SS!
The Prediction!
This match is tough to call because SS have been the form team in the second half of the season and would really be the team to follow to go all the way but in EPC they have been there all season and must also fancy there chances. Jack wants this more than anything but I am the one that said SS wasn't taking this competition seriously enough and I would like to say im sorry and I will back SS to take this too!

Week 14
First of all sorry for the lack of preds the last couple of weeks, but with a certain woman coming into the country you can understand why :D.
This is the last week of competitive action and it all looks like it will be out of FR, MP, SS and EPC for the title. The only team that could upset these 4 are SP who need a win and they play MP so if they do win I think MP would be out.
FR have been atop of the standings all season and will want to head into the playoffs with that Number 1 seed. MP should be safe as I am sure they will win there last natch of the season, but they could still lose and go through at the expense of 4th placed team EPC. SS are safely into the playoffs like FR are.
Lets look at the matches this week.
Brit Pool vs Extreme Pool Competitors
A nothing match? Just try telling that to BP who are enjoying playing spoiler but would sure wish they were one of the 5 teams left going for the playoffs. EPC need this win as SP dont lose out on playoff spots very often, having said that Jack and his team have it in there own hands. Brit Pool though know what its like to win and this is a winnable match but with the team Jack has I think they have no chance.

Money In The Bank vs Freedom
Oh how petey would have wished this was a Home match, as Jason (yes me) has not lost a bank the 8 / q lp all season. This match will be close because MIB are playing spoiler again and Freedom will need to make sure everyone is on there game because MIB are starting to get some very, very good players in other inter leagues now. FR need the likes of Petey, Corey and Myself to be on there game, if we are then its going to be number 1 seed to FR.

Straight Shots vs Ultimate Outlaws
This match is big because a SS wina nd results going there way would mean SS take the Championship, and after the first 3 or 4 weeks where people were suggesting SS wasn't taking it very seriously, Nigel could go and say there you go stick that in your pipe and smoke it! UO want revenge and have been on a good run lately but with reports of upset in there own league what sort of position player wise will they be in?

Shock Special
Magic Pool vs Sexy Poolerz
Sooo if SP win 5-0 then MP are out. This is not going to well but this is my shock prediction that after this long season MP MISSES out on the playoffs and SP show with 5 strong players and blank MP. This is my most controversial prediction yet but it will happen it hink. SP are going to be so pumped up for this after MP beat them int he WPC finals it will be fascinating.
Score: FIVE - NIL SP

Week 11!
Well I hope you all had a good Christmas. I did! Lets get into week 11 shall we!
Ultimate Outlaws vs Brit Pool
So BP are now officially out of the race for the playoffs but UO certainly are not! If they can win big today and a few teams slip up they are right back in with a chance. Brit Pool can only play spoiler for the rest of the season now and I am sure they will do just that! If UO show with there strongest 6 though this will be over early.

Freedom vs Sexy Poolerz
This was a cracking match up earlier in the season with FR coming out on top. SP are on a big losing streak at the moment in GIT and will need some big improvements in there team this week. IF SP show and want to win I think they might but FR have this momentum in GIT at the moment and that shout JUST see them through.
Score: 3-2 FR
EPC vs Magic Pool
Again another match up that could go either way. EPC are surprising but then look at Magic Pool at the moment! Finals of WPC and starting to go like a train again and who can go against that momentum? Not Me! Jack has a big mountain to get anything out of this game and I think Chris will lead MP to a great victory.

MIB are improving and improving quick they have pommy for some Interleagues but is GIT one? We will see but they will shock SS!

Week 10
BP vs SS
This is a very interesting match with SS moving in the right direction, while BP are most definitely moving in the wrong one at the moment. If SS show like they have been the last couple of weeks, then this will be a no contest, however I feel with BP needing to produce a big performance it might well be this week. Either way who ever wins this will look good for getting a playoff birth.

Again a shock could be on the cards here as MIB are Active and have a lot of cam players now, but MP, a team who wiped XP off in WPC 4-0 are also a team on a big roll at the moment. They will want to win for Jane but can they win I dont know. MIB will cause the shock this week.

Welcome To Week 9
Welcome to Week 9 of GIT and this week looks very interesting. So lets get right into it.
FR vs BP
Well with all the controversy over these two teams it was appropriate that they play each other! Petey has kept everything in check some how and BP's only problem is Drew but that will be put all in the past today as BP look to improve there chances of a playoff position while FR look for a win that will cement there status as favourites for GIT Season ONE!

EPC vs UO
Another interesting match and although I hate UO, they are picking it up and EPC are maybe just starting to slack off a little. If both teams show with there main teams then this will be a good match up. It all depends on who shows and what there form is like but I will go for a big Upset this week.
